Celebrate the wild places we love through art!
In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Flathead Wild & Scenic River, Flathead Rivers Alliance is teaming up with Columbia Falls Ace Hardware for a special, hands-on Fish Prints workshop inspired by the rivers, wildlife, and landscapes that make the Flathead Headwaters so special.
Join us to create your own custom reusable tote bag using river- and nature-inspired linocut stamps. Choose from trout, pinecones, beavers, Indian paintbrush, and more. Mix, match, and layer your favorite designs to make something uniquely yours!
The Three Forks of the Flathead River, the North, Middle, and South Forks, were designated as part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System in 1976. Fifty years later, we’re celebrating the rivers that connect our communities, support incredible wildlife, and inspire generations to explore, enjoy, and care for these special places.
With Halloween just around the corner, this workshop is also the perfect chance to create a one-of-a-kind trick-or-treat tote or an everyday bag inspired by the wild places we love.
All materials are free and all ages are welcome! Bring your creativity and join us for a morning of art, river appreciation, and community.
Here’s to 50 years of the Flathead Wild & Scenic River and many more to come! 💙
