You Showed Up BIG for the 2025 Flathead Waters Cleanup!
Wow. You showed up BIG for this year’s Flathead Waters Cleanup, and we couldn’t be more grateful! 🌟
Thanks to the dedication of over 170 volunteers, we hauled 3,050+ pounds of trash out of our rivers and lakeshores and improved more than 100 miles of waterways across the Flathead Basin. Every bag filled and every piece of trash removed represents cleaner water, healthier habitat, and a stronger community connection to the wild and scenic places we love.
Here’s another glimpse of some of the amazing cleanup crews in action! Don’t forget to check out even more stories and photos from the day over at Flathead Waters Cleanup main website (tinyurl.com/flatheadcleanup)💙
This year’s cleanup was extra special as we celebrated five years of Flathead Waters Cleanup! Over the years, it has been an honor to work side by side with our co-hosts to build this event into a tradition of stewardship:
🌊 Flathead Lakers
🌊 Flathead Conservation District
🌊 Lake County Conservation District
🌊 CSKT NRD Fish, Wildlife, Recreation & Conservation
🌊 Western Montana Conservation Commission
And, of course, we owe a huge thank-you to Sacred Waters Brewing Company for hosting our afterparty year after year. You’ve given our volunteers a space to gather, raise a glass, and celebrate the difference we’re making together. 🍻
This year also brought a new addition we’re excited about — Ryan and his recycling services. His efforts helped ensure that even more materials were responsibly handled and kept out of our watershed. 🙏
Five years in, this event keeps growing, and it’s because of you — our volunteers, partners, and sponsors. Thank you for caring so deeply about these waters and showing up with such big hearts and strong hands. Together, we’re leaving the Flathead better than we found it.💙

Huge thanks to Glacier Raft Co for donating guided rafts during the Flathead Waters Cleanup event, on the North Fork of the Flathead River, for some of our volunteers!
